France includes Cuba on its green list due to low risk of Covid-19

The French government included Cuba on its Green List of nations and territories with insignificant or moderate circulation of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and with an absence of emerging variants of concern.

The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on its website that our country is currently among the few countries on the American continent considered as part of the category of States with an absence of emerging variants of concern. Colombia, Ecuador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Venezuela are also in this classification.

This means, they explain, that travelers to metropolitan France, coming from Cuba, will only have to present proof of their vaccination if they have been vaccinated with the vaccines recognized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). negative of a PCR or antigenic test, or a recovery certificate for unvaccinated travellers.
