A father of a family died tragically after he fell into an abyss of more than 25 meters, when the motorcycle van in which he was traveling collided with a concrete wall. Meanwhile, his friend is in serious condition. This happened in the district of Canchaque, province of Huancabamba.
It happened at approximately noon yesterday, when the victim identified as Daniel Huamán Padilla (59), along with Freddy Díaz, were traveling in a red motorcycle van, and were going from the district of San Miguel El Faique to the Los Corrales hamlet.
But upon reaching a curve in the Chiriguas sector, the vehicle in which they were transporting some corrugated iron and other things, hit a concrete wall, causing both occupants to be thrown into the air and fall into an abyss of more than 25 meters, between some bushes. .

Due to the strong fall, Daniel Huamán died instantly. While Díaz was helped by police officers and, together with the residents, he was transferred to the Canchaque health center where until yesterday, he remained hospitalized and could be transferred to a hospital in Piura.
The National Police of the jurisdiction has been investigating the causes of the tragic accident and will carry out investigations at the scene in the next few hours.
Meanwhile, after what happened, his family and friends showed their condolences to the victim’s relatives. “Goodbye grandfather, father, brother and soul friend, Daniel Huamán. You were one of the most honest characters I met in my life. May God welcome you into his kingdom…” indicated one of his friends.
It was learned that the victim resided in the Los Corrales hamlet in the Morropón district, where he would be watched over by his loved ones after the unfortunate accident that occurred yesterday and that has left a family in deep pain.
