The Association of Winegrowers of Peru (ABP) questioned the “inaction” of the authorities in the face of the wave of insecurity that is being experienced in the country and that today generated the transporters strike.

Through a statement, the union stated that its sector has been expressing in all media for years the difficult situation faced by these businesses that are victims of crime and that has now expanded to other economic activities.
“We express our protest and solidarity with the transporters, in the face of the inaction of the authorities who do not agree to establish measures that provide greater security,” he indicated.
In that sense, he pointed out that they hope that the protests will allow the central government and the entities involved to administer justice. He pointed out the same thing about the Prosecutor’s Office and the Judiciary “that release the criminals.”
“The Congress of the Republic must issue laws in line with current crime. The Ombudsman’s Office must defend the rights of good people and the National Board of Justice must sanction bad judges and prosecutors,” the ABP stated.
