The Bolivian Football Federation (FBF), headed by its president Fernando Costacarried out this Thursday the official presentation of the Conmebol U-15 Tournamentwhich will be played entirely at the Tahuichi Aguilera stadium in Santa Cruz, from October 4 to 19.
The press conference for said launch was held at Novotel facilities, in the eastern capital, where The federation owner announced the cost of the championship.
“One million 800 thousand dollars, funds allocated by Conmebol, there are additional costs assumed by the FBF and obviously there are funds that the Government allocated to leave the Tahuichi stadium in good condition,” said Fernando Costa.
The price of tickets was also announced. The subscriptions have a cost of Bs 80which are used to enter all the days of the competition, while Bs 20 will be charged per match for seniors and Bs 10 for minors.
“The future of football is in training… We must support young people, ask fans to attend and support, because there is talent in Bolivian soccer, this has been demonstrated by our senior team, which has had the lowest average age of all the Qualifiers,” Costa added.
In the next few days the president of Conmebol will arrive in Santa CruzAlejandro Domínguez, who will inspect the Tahuichi stadium and is also likely to witness some matches of the tournament.
Besidesthe delegations plan to arrive in the eastern capital on October 2two days before the start of the championship, although it is possible that Venezuela and Uruguay advance their arrival, which has not yet been confirmed.
Group A is made up of Bolivia, Paraguay, Colombia, Peru and Chile. In series B are Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Venezuela and Uruguay.
It was made clear that The tournament will not have an opening ceremony, because the games will be played directly. On October 4, Chile and Colombia will face each other, starting at 5:30 p.m., while the main match will be between Bolivia and Peru, at 7:30 p.m.
