During the III National Meeting of the Network of Young Parliamentarians of Venezuela, the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stated that “we will not leave here until we leave them a truly free homeland,” the minister also of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, highlighted in turn that the history they have had to go through has been long, tortuous, but of much learning.
“The greatness of a human being like Hugo Chávez who assumed responsibilities when no one else did was an encouragement for the people, that is why it was a love between Chávez and the people,” he recalled.
Cabello mentioned that in the context of what is happening in the countries of the region, there is a lot of envy against Venezuela. “Because in many of these countries their rulers do not have a project; On the other hand, when Chávez arrived, he called a constituent to give a new face to the nation.”
Today, he added, they want to revive fascism in Venezuela, through the surnames, with deep roots in national history, of the masters of the Valley. “That is why you must be the vanguard to defeat the new fascism that you want to impose, because you are not going to forgive us that a young man from Sabaneta (Barinas), like Chávez, has become president.”
Along these lines, he indicated that a true leader is not built overnight, because he is created over time, he is made by example and the recognition of the people. “Because sooner rather than later some of you will have to take the reins of the country.”
