Federal deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) missed the testimony scheduled for this Thursday (26) at the Federal Supreme Court (STF). The hearing would take place in the criminal action in which the parliamentarian and hacker Walter Delgatti are defendants for the invasion of the electronic system of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), in 2023.
In a statement, Zambelli’s office said that she is hospitalized and will undergo an emergency procedure.
Delgatti attended the hearing, but was not heard. The hacker’s press office did not provide a reason. He is being held in a penitentiary in Araraquara (SP) and has confessed to the crime.
In May of this year, Zambelli and Delgatti became defendants after the First Chamber of the Supreme Court, unanimously, accepted the complaint from the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) accusing the deputy of being the mastermind behind the invasion to issue a false arrest warrant against Minister Alexandre de Moraes.
The deputy and the hacker are charged with the crimes of ideological falsehood and hacking into a computer device.
Carla Zambelli’s defense claims that there is no evidence that the parliamentarian encouraged the hacker attack on the CNJ system.
