In the Santa Rosalía parish in Caracas, community members held a general assembly with the aim of gathering community proposals for the Grand Congress of the Historical Block of the Five Generations.
The Vice President of Planning and Coordinator of the Great Historical Congress, Ricardo Menendezexpressed that they will continue together with the communes to achieve the profound transformation proposed by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Morosfor future generations.
“These meetings are the essence and soul of this Historic Congress. We have been holding these meetings in each of the communities. At this moment we are at the level of the communal circuits and communes. It is very important that they have their vision from the point of view of what they want to propose to our president,” he said.

For her part, the Minister of People’s Power for Youth, Greece Colmenareshighlighted the importance of the youth sector in this Great Congress: “We have been accompanying the organized people and especially the youth, generating spaces for debate and the meeting of five generations, just as we are doing in the Santa Rosalía parish, we have been doing it throughout the country.”
The community leaders expressed their support for this initiative and assured that Communal Power is the way forward in the new stage of transition to socialism.
More than 30 thousand assemblies have been held throughout the country with the aim of continuing to strengthen the public policies promoted by the Head of State.
