In the midst of the celebration of the anniversary of Santa Cruz, this Tuesday, September 24, the Santa Cruz Governorate announced, through its social networks, a project to improve the Ramón Aguilera Costas stadium, better known as Tahuichi.

It is a concession project, according to the Government. in his publication, in which he also gives details of the items to be improved in the main sports venue of the capital of Santa Cruz.

The approximate investment is 111 million bolivianos, which will be used to provide a roof for spectators, an LED scoreboard and time screen, sound in all the stands, better lighting on the field and stands, and general improvement of the facilities.

A brief summary of the technical data reveals that will have more than 20,000 square meters of metal roof sealed in stands, 168 pieces of LED lights distributed around the entire perimeter, two giant 5×3 meter LED screens, 203 perimeter LED screens and 108 speaker units with a manual addressing system.

For now, The Tahuichi Aguilera stadium is not being used, because it is in the maintenance and improvement stage, because it will host the South American Under-15 Championship, which will be played from October 4 to 19.

For this reason, the clubs from Santa Cruz, except for Real Santa Cruz which has its own stadium, They are not using the Tahuichi and they chose the Gilberto Parada stadium in Montero to play their matches in the Professional Division of Bolivian football.
