“Thanks to citizen support, this city will have a head of government with feminist convictions who fought from the poorest outskirts of this great city to transform it,” she said.
Clara Brugada stressed that this September 24 confirmed that despite attempts by opposition groups to reverse the results of June 2, local and federal electoral authorities resolved in favor of the coalition “Let’s Keep Making History.”
“Throughout this process, we must remember that in this electoral process, there were no sanctions, fines or warnings from the electoral bodies regarding our campaign, we played fair and respected everything,” he said.
Before dozens of deputies, elected mayors, future heads of departments and members of autonomous organizations, Clara Brugada called for building a metropolitan Mexico City, without territorial divisions, as well as mobility projects, social programs, security, eradication of inequalities, among other areas.
“We want a city that works together to be the best city, and that is the commitment we are making today so that we can continue to be at the forefront of freedoms and rights and be the capital of transformation,” he said.
