In a statement, the Public Prosecutor’s Office protested the publication of the court ruling, which, according to sources from Peru21, was notified only this morning by Supreme Court Judge Juan Carlos Checkley.

“The Second Specialized Supreme Prosecutor’s Office for Crimes Committed by Public Officials deeply deplores the fact that the Judiciary has disseminated the resolution ordering a search before it takes place. This type of action severely undermines the effectiveness of justice,” the statement reads.
