The assault by the advisor to the candidate for mayor of São Paulo, Pablo Marçal (PRTB), Nahuel Medina, against Duda Lima, publicist for the current mayor and also candidate Ricardo Nunes (MDB), was registered as bodily harm by the Civil Police of São Paulo.
Last night (23), at the end of an electoral debate held by the Flow group, Medina, 26, punched Lima, 51, in the face, right after Marçal was expelled from the debate for not having followed the rules of the event. The case was registered at the 16th Police District, in Vila Clementino, in the south of the capital of São Paulo.
“A 51-year-old man, an advisor to a candidate, was injured after being attacked by the 26-year-old advisor to another candidate. The parties were taken to the police station, where they signed a Circumstantial Term (TC). The case was forwarded to the Special Criminal Court (Jecrim) for the appropriate measures,” says the text of a note from the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) of the state of São Paulo.
Lima suffered eye injuries, needed stitches, and is undergoing a series of tests this afternoon at the Albert Einstein hospital in the capital of São Paulo. Bruno
In a statement, Grupo Flow regretted the incident and said that the police were called and acted quickly. “Unfortunately, after the final considerations, there was an episode of aggression.
