Hernando Cevallosformer Minister of Health peter castleconsidered that the president must show signs of honesty and transparency and prevent scandals from breaking out in the Government Palace, as this affects governance in the country.
“He (Pedro Castillo) must permanently show signs of transparency, not allow scandals to break out near him, of corruption. This hurts the president and hurts us all as a country, “he said in an interview with Successful.
According to the former minister, Castillo is an honest person, however, he has not yet implemented actions so that the country can observe this, thus avoiding false accusations against the Executive Power.
“The president must open all the doors of the Palace, make the entire situation of the Executive transparent, not allow there to be any shadow of doubt about the head of government. This has to do with the responsibility of upholding the morale of our country,” Cevallos said.
“We chose a president of the Republic and we need the president to be absolutely honest and transparent,” he added.
On the other hand, former minister Cevallos criticized the media that question the president and investigate him, but that before “looked the other way.”
“The right has governed the country all these years. And they have ensured that those who arrived with the flag of the left ended up abandoning it and raised the flag of the right, of conservatism, of the defense of the status quo”, he sentenced.
