The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expressed its condemnation energetic against the bombings by the State of Israel carried out in southern and western Lebanon, which left at least 274 people dead and more than a thousand injured, including a considerable number of women, children and workers.
The Bolivarian Diplomacy for Peace described this new criminal attack as “the continuation of the aggression of wild Zionism in the Middle East, through incessant terrorist attacks against the civilian population, populated areas, towns and cities.”
The official statement was released by the Chancellor Yvan Gil, on his social networks, through which he insisted on the requests of the Bolivarian Republic regarding the necessary international unity against all forms of fascism and similar expressions, in accordance with the principles and purposes of the United Nations Charter and international law.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela condemns, in the strongest terms, the Israeli attack carried out this Monday, September 23, 2024, in southern and western Lebanon and its surrounding areas, which caused at least 274 deaths and more than a thousand injuries. Among the victims are a considerable number of women, children and health workers.
The continuation of the aggression of wild Zionism in the Middle East, through incessant terrorist attacks against civilians, populated areas, towns and cities, represents Israel’s dark intentions to unleash a dangerous phase of confrontations with Lebanon and other countries in the region, which could lead to an unprecedented large-scale war.
Venezuela warns that this ferocious aggression has caused multiple displaced people and a humanitarian crisis among the inhabitants of Lebanon, which adds to the already complicated war scenario that has spread to that country since the beginning of the Israeli genocide in Palestine.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, based on its diplomacy of peace, expresses its heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the deceased for the loss of their loved ones, while it hopes for justice and peace as the only certain alternatives to achieve a prosperous future for humanity, as well as the necessary international unity against all forms of fascism and similar expressions, in accordance with the principles and purposes of the Charter of the United Nations and international law.
