President Luis Abinader recalled this Monday that the information that some media outlets published several days ago about the alleged rise of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) “was from 2019 and was false.”
“I also want you to please review the information you receive. It is good to confirm this information,” said the president, who referred to the issue in La Semanal con la Prensa, held from New York.
Abinader is completing an agenda in the American city as part of his participation in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UN) and the UN Future Summit.
