After several hours of negotiation, the
Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (Mitradel), in its role as mediator and
conciliator managed to get members of the Industrial Workers Union
Electrical and Similar (SITIESPA) and representatives of Ensa-Servicios SA,
subsidiary of the electricity distribution company Ensa, will reach an agreement
and in this way, they will nullify the declaration of strike scheduled for this
Monday, September 23.
The Director General of Labor, Karla León, said that the agreement presented
before the company and SITIESPA, ended on good terms for all parties, since
that the common good was sought.
León explained that the list of demands presented by this union was
addressed a series of violations that they believed the company had incurred.
The company, for its part, within the term of the response also made its
discharges, reaching a mediation agreement, after months of having started this
discussion.
Meanwhile, Minister Jackeline Muñoz de Cedeño urged the working sector and
employer to maintain dialogue and consensus, as fundamental bases for
solutions to labor disputes that guarantee a working relationship
harmonious and productive for all.
