A person was stabbed by some subjects when he was leaving an entertainment venue in the district of La Matanza, province of Morropón, in the region PiuraWitnesses say that before leaving he participated in a fight inside this establishment, so these subjects stabbed him in revenge.

The victim was identified as Edwin Johan Chávez Imán (31 years old), who worked as a chef in a local establishment in the district of La Matanza and had gone out to have fun with a group of friends, but due to circumstances that are being investigated, he ended up in a fight and upon leaving he was intercepted by some subjects who attacked him with knives in various parts of the body.
Despite being rushed to the hospital, the victim did not survive and died from his severe injuries. The incident occurred early yesterday morning.
After learning of the incident, personnel from the La Matanza police station with the support of Serenazgo carried out an operation in the area and some neighbors were able to identify the alleged murderer, who was hiding in a house in this district and apparently intended to escape to the city of Olmos.
The agents raided the house where there were four people, including the alleged murderer. Although they were arrested, a group of local residents prevented them from being taken to the police station. However, the alleged murderer was detained and identified as JFGV, 17 years old, from San Juan de Lurigancho, in the city of Lima.
It should be noted that neighbors confronted the police and security forces with kicks and punches and when they surrounded the truck they rescued the other youths, who are believed to be minors. The alleged murderer was detained at the police station.
