The television program obtained access to exclusive images that reveal the luxurious lifestyle led by Fritz Moreno Cossio, who is accused of being a supposed friend of former president Pedro Castilloinside the maximum security prison Ancon lThe material shows that Moreno Cossio has a cell equipped with various amenities such as access to cell phones.
According to the records obtained, Fritz Moreno maintains constant communication with his closest circle. Through Videos and love messages on WhatsAppmanages to stay in touch with his social circle despite the accusations of serious crimes he faces, as he should be in total isolation within the prison.
In addition, the subject is identified as the alleged leader of a dangerous criminal organization dedicated to the theft and cloning of high-end vehicles in different areas of Lima. He is also accused of having financed the murder of the son of Former Mayor of San Juan de Lurigancho, Carlos Burgos.
The audio recordings broadcast by the television program would reveal that Fritz Moreno continues to operate without restrictions since his incarceration. According to these records, Moreno would still maintain control of his criminal organization. This situation underlines the urgency for the authorities to intervene to stop these illegal operations within penitentiary centers.
Pedro Castillo and his alleged link with Fritz Moreno
In 2022, a journalistic investigation by Panorama exposed new ties between former President Pedro Castillo and Fritz Moreno Cossío, a character linked to suspicions of murder. It was revealed that Moreno Cossío visited Sarratea’s house with Congresswoman Heidy Juárez, from Alianza Para el Progreso (APP), at the beginning of Castillo’s term. Unpublished videos showed Juárez arriving in a car driven by Moreno, although she claimed not to know him and said that he was introduced by her security team on the same day of the meeting with the former president.
The report also provided details about Fritz Moreno’s violent profile, noting that he faces multiple murder charges, although he has always come out unscathed in court. The program also showed a video in which Moreno violently attacked a stylist, whom he accused of defrauding his wife.
