The Prosecutor’s Office Against Organized Crime requested preventive detention against the alleged members of “Los Bobys del Bajo” Piura”, where the mayor of the district of La Unión, Percy Leonel Yamunaqué Chero, is located. They are accused of being the alleged perpetrators of the crime of aggravated collusion.

The request from the Prosecutor’s Office presented to the judge of the Sixth Preparatory Investigation Court specialized in Crimes of Corruption of Public Officials of Piura, Christian Azabache Vidal, requests preventive detention against Percy Leonel Yamunaqué Chero, Miller Amaro Peña Tuse, as authors, for the alleged crime of aggravated collusion, and alternatively embezzlement.
The Prosecutor’s Office also requested preventive detention against Segundo Orestes Zeña, Juan Kilder Pazo Álvarez and Junior Giampierre Cubas Álvarez, as primary accomplices, for the same crime.
The facts that are the subject of investigation would be the collection of alleged phantom services related to the cleaning and unclogging of the drain in the Canizal Chico sector of the La Unión district, for more than S/ 400,000.
