The Vice Minister of Anti-Blockade Policies of the Ministry of Popular Power for Economy, Finance and Foreign Trade, William Castillo, presented in the city of Geneva, Switzerland, the exhibition “The Numbers of the Blockade”, which details in chronological order the damage that sanctions and Unilateral Coercive Measures (MCU) have caused to Venezuela.
“We are here in Geneva with the exhibition “The Numbers of the Blockade”, a work that has been done jointly by the Venezuelan Anti-Blockade Observatory, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, and with the support of our Embassy to the United Nations in Geneva,” Castillo explained.
He also said that the exhibition contains a chronological compilation of all the attacks suffered by the Venezuelan people, as well as the history of the vile plundering of Venezuelan property.
“We have brought this information to the Human Rights Council before various countries, before the group of friends of the Charter, before the ALBA ambassadors, before the group of Latin American and African ambassadors, which is essential to understand the attacks on Venezuela and to continue defending the truth of our country in the world,” he emphasized.
The Venezuelan Anti-Blockade Observatory has issued an update on the Unilateral Coercive Measures imposed on the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Following the seizure of the presidential plane by the United States, the total number of these restrictive and punitive measures has reached 947.
