Nelson Polania ‘Polilla’ and the last moments of Posada

César Corredor, also a comedian from the cast of Sábados Felices known as ‘Barbarita’, said in an emotional interview Caracol News the last moments he was able to share with ‘Gorda Fabiola’, whom he considered his “friend and advisor” in life, and the news took him by surprise.

“I knew she was in a delicate state. Eight days ago we were filming, she was with us; she didn’t participate in the humorous part, but she was on the couch with us, as always, making fun of us and bringing joy, togetherness,” she said.

In recent years, Fabiola faced several health problems that brought her to the brink of death. However, her unwavering sense of humor never abandoned her. On one occasion, she joked about her situation, saying that she had been called to record “Die Hard 3.”

He dedicated an emotional song to her

In a touching call between César and Nelson Polonia, the latter recalled a special moment: “He played her the song they met with. He played Mickey Taveras’ song ‘I like you so much’ on her cell phone and rubbed her little feet, which was what she liked,” he recounted through tears.

“The doctor told them that it was better to start saying goodbye to her because her organs were not responding. Every medicine they were injecting her with was no longer of any use. So, each one had their minute of mourning with her, going in and saying goodbye, until she left us all,” he told the news station.

A few minutes after that tender gesture, Fabiola left this earthly world, according to her story. She ended by saying that she still has the best moments and memories during the 35 years they shared on the set of the comedy show.
