More than 500 properties, including houses, apartments and land, will be auctioned by Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF). Bids can be made until the 30th of this month. The properties are located in 21 Brazilian states (AL, BA, CE, DF, ES, GO, MA, MG, MT, PA, PB, PE, PI, PR, RJ, RN, RO, RR, SC, SE and SP) and some lots allow the use of FGTS and financing. The auction is public and will be held electronically through website by auctioneer Helcio Kronberg https://kronbergleiloes.com.br/.
Properties that are not sold by this date will be auctioned in a second auction, ending on October 3. The auctioneer explains that interested parties should pay attention to the notice, as the second auction does not always have a lower value than the first auction, as is the case in judicial auctions. “In this case, the first auction is based on the appraised value of the property and the second auction is based on the value of the debt. Therefore, if the debt is higher than the appraised value, the second auction will be more expensive than the first,” assessed Helcio Kronberg.
The CEF auction is an opportunity for those looking to purchase their own home or for investors. The properties are available at discounts of up to 40% of the appraised value. The full list of properties and payment terms can be found in the notice.
