Commission studying constitutional reform says it will report next week

The Bicameral Commission in charge of examining the bill to reform the Constitution is in the final stages of its deliberations and could submit a report next week.

This report, according to the senator, Rogelio Genaowill convene the National Assembly to carry out the changes requested by the Executive Branch.

Genao said that although he does not expect the report to be ready this week, it is very likely that it will be finalized in the next few days.

Genao also stressed the importance of making the law as clear and simple as possible, limiting itself to only the relevant articles to avoid confusion.
