A member of the criminal organization Tren del Llano was killed during a procedure carried out by agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), according to military sources.
This operation took place in the El Salado sector, Juan Manuel Cajigal municipality (Onoto), Anzoátegui state, where Operation Zaraza 2024 is deployed to locate the members of the Tren del Llano.
At the aforementioned location, a confrontation took place between soldiers and members of the aforementioned criminal group, one of whom was killed, according to a report from the 52-2 Rural Command Detachment of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) to which we had access.
Following the confrontation, the military collected a 7.62×39 mm caliber rifle, a Pietro Beretta 9 mm pistol, five rifle magazines and 180 cartridges, including 166 for 7.62×39 mm caliber rifles, the report details.
This procedure is related to another carried out on August 31 in the El Paraíso sector, Ezequiel Manuel Bruzual (Clarines) municipality of Anzoátegui state, where Ezequiel José Urrebarreno Tomase (Chequelo), also associated with the Tren del Llano, was killed.
After that, two brothers of the deceased were captured at the Citizen Service Point located in Clarines. They are: Jefferson José and Johelis del Valle Urrebarrueno.
And in the El Trapiche sector, Araure municipality (Portuguesa), the military arrested Gloana del Valle Vásquez Caldera, Fabiola María Di Natale Díaz, and Juan Carlos Colmenares Rivero, who demanded a certain amount in dollars from a victim in order not to take action against his farm.
The subjects were seized a black Ford vehicle, license plate RAP02D and another KIA brand vehicle, license plate AA356HP, according to a report from the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) No. 31. The detainees were handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office.
