Rains cause havoc in several municipalities in Nicaragua and will continue during the weekend

The torrential rain that fell last Thursday afternoon and evening, caused by a low pressure system that, in turn, caused light to moderate rains in previous days, left material damages in Managua and some departments of the country.

Several neighborhoods in the Nicaraguan capital have been affected by flooding, which has caused damage to riverbeds and houses, mainly in the Dorado sector and surrounding areas. The municipalities of Nandaime, in Granada, and Tisma, in Masaya, have also reported damage, which has been shown by citizens through social networks.
