These are the free workshops that Colfuturo is offering

Colfuturo, an organization with more than 30 years of experience in promoting postgraduate studies abroad, has launched a series of free workshops in six cities in Colombia.

These workshops have as Objective: To provide guidance to professionals who wish to broaden their academic horizons and successfully face the challenges of studying master’s and doctoral degrees abroad.

In collaboration with government representatives from Australia, Germany, France, Canada, Switzerland and Education USA, Colfuturo will offer practical advice on how to overcome the barriers that often arise when planning to study abroad. Participants will be able to access information on educational offers, quality of life, scholarships and job opportunities in these countries.

The benefits of studying abroad go beyond having access to prestigious professors and research resources. Living in a multicultural environment improves communication and teamwork skills, aspects that are increasingly valued in the globalized world.“, explained Jerónimo Castro, director of Colfuturo.

The workshops, scheduled for Bucaramanga, Quibdó and Ibagué in October (2, 16 and 30 respectively) and in Pereira on November 20, are added to those held in Popayán and Medellín during September.

Among the tools that will be offered in these workshops are the definition of the starting point for studying a postgraduate degree, sources of information, search for universities and suitable academic programs, application requirements, validity of the degree in Colombia, as well as financing options and the operation of the Colfuturo Credit Scholarship Program.

Since its founding, Colfuturo has supported more than 16,000 Colombian professionals in completing their studies at renowned universities in America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. Each beneficiary receives support of up to US$50,000, which can reach a maximum forgiveness of 80% depending on decisions regarding their return to the country and the sector in which they work.

This initiative represents a valuable opportunity for Colombian professionals to take a significant step towards realizing their academic and professional goals abroad.
