Santo Domingo.- The weather will remain hot and with little rain in much of the country, due to the influence of several climatic factors, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology reported this Thursday. Meteorology (Indomet).
The agency clarified that moderate rainfall will only be recorded in some regions, due to the combination of local environmental factors and a weak trough.
The rains will have a greater impact this Friday afternoon in the provinces of La Altagracia, La Romana, El Seibo, Hato Mayor and Monte Plata.

In addition, Juan Sanchez Ramirez, Monsignor Nouel, San Jose de Ocoa, La Vega, Santiago de los Caballeros, San Juan, Elias Pine, Dajabon and Monte Cristi.
The Meteorological Service also reported that it is monitoring two areas of heavy rain located north of the Lesser Antilles.
Neither system represents a threat to the Dominican Republic due to their location.
