The U12 pre-selection team resumes its training ahead of the Pre-World Cup

A total of 24 players have been called up to participate in the final part of training, in order to form the National Team that will participate in the U12 Pre-World Cup, scheduled to be played in Panama, from October 19 to 27, with the Rod Carew and Andy Alonso stadiums as venues.
Led by star Yuriel Garcia, the pre-selection led by Jose Murillo III, enters the final stretch of its preparation to select the 18 players who will represent the country in such a prestigious event. “It will be a nice problem to be able to select the team, due to the quality of the players called to practice,” said Murillo III.
“We will work on the game system and fundamentals in these practices, to arrive at the competition in the best possible conditions, both physically and technically,” said the Panamanian coach.

The Pre-Selection is made up of the pitchers; Yuriel García, Miguel Barrios, Emmanuel Campbell, Jahymar Cañizales, Deymar del Cid, Amell Fernández, Aldahir Gutiérrez, Mark Jiménez and Marcos Moreno. While, Andree Arancibia and Wifredo Bonilla, are the catchers.
For their part, Pedro Alfonso, Marcus Arauz, Diego Camargo, Joel Córdoba, Daniel Pineda and Anthony Rodríguez are the infielders, while Ricardo Lezcano, Andy Ortega, Diego Rodríguez, Edward Samudio, Rubén Sandoval, Raúl Sierra and Prince Valdez will compete for the outfield positions.
We have players who can pitch in addition to playing positions, which gives depth to our rotation. Marcos Moreno is set to be the starting pitcher in Panama’s first game, when they face the Colombian team.
