Diosdado Cabello: Yesterday we found another batch of weapons

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, reported that on Tuesday a new batch of weapons belonging to the terrorist plan of mercenaries against Venezuela was seized.

“Yesterday we found another batch of weapons,” he said on Wednesday during the broadcast of his television program Con El Mazo Dando.

He said that in the penultimate seizure of rifles, carried out on Monday, “all the boxes had the seal of Century Arms,” an American arms company that replicates the Russian AK-47 model.

He also revealed that they tried to “insert the weapons like skateboards,” but “a wheel came off the skateboard,” referring to the dismantling of the plan.

Cabello said that the mercenaries, terrorists and weapons have been captured; and that the only thing left to discover is who provided the money, but that is easy to achieve.

The Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace also criticized the fact that so far no one from the extremist opposition sector has spoken out or condemned the reported events regarding the terrorist plan against Venezuela.

He recalled that it was a formal complaint about “mercenaries, terrorists, weapons against our country.”

“There has been no fuss. The opposition has not said anything, but it has not condemned the incident either. The only one who came out was Ecarri, who condemned the incident, in his own way, but he condemned it,” he stressed.
