The creation of car will be in charge of the Canadian firm Daymac, and its Argentine partners FDC Competición and Emerx, who expect to produce some 400 units per year of this type of electric car.
In addition to the fact that the design and engineering will be national, it is estimated that 40% of the construction of the electric car be carried out with local components, with an investment of 8,300 million dollars.
Production will initially take place in Córdoba and the cars will not be sold in the country, they will only be exported. In addition, it is expected in the long term, to produce about 50,000 units.
The Daymak Spiritus is a two-seater car with three wheels and one hundred percent electric. It has a 40 kWh battery, in its sports version, which allows it to reach a range of 480 km.

The Canadian company Daymac reportedly told the Minister of Productive Development, Matías Kulfas, that “the technological capacity and quality of the professionals in our automotive industry were key in the decision.”
In turn, the minister assured that “Argentina has the raw materials, the technology and the human and professional resources to advance in sustainable mobility.”
Therefore, assuming the manufacture of this vehicle is a “great opportunity to reposition our automotive industry in the world and generate more production and Argentine work,” as Kulfas indicated.
