Guerrero launches campaign with billboards to find the 43 from Ayotzinapa

“I confirm to them that they have the support of the state. All the support and accompaniment of our government is at their disposal,” said Salgado.

“We have agreed on a massive communication campaign, which will include media such as radio, television, newspapers, social media and billboards,” he added.

On September 26, it will be a decade since officials and alleged members of organized crime attacked the normalistas in Iguala.

“It is about extending the search for the students and asking for the collaboration of the public to find their whereabouts. All efforts are important,” said Salgado about the campaign.

“We will continue to work on locating the young men. We trust that this can provide new clues. In this government, just and humanitarian causes will always have an echo,” he added.

“I will do everything in my power. You can count on me, you can count on the governor who listens to you,” he concluded.

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has said that the case of the students is one of the pending issues left by his government.

Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, Mexico’s president-elect, insists that her administration will continue to seek the truth in the Ayotzinapa case.
