ANCAP1-728x420

In the last hours, the URSEA report on the “Import parity prices of petroleum products”, corresponding to the period September 26 – October 25, was released.

The URSEC proposes increases of: 13.8% for diesel, 4.5% for Super naphtha, 4.3% for Premium naphtha; and a drop of 0.41% for supergas.

In this sense, the Super 95 gasoline should go from the current 57.44 pesos to 60.07 pesos. While the Premium 97 would go from 59.38 to 61.98 pesos.

While Gasoil 50 S: would increase from 38.45 pesos to 43.77 pesos; and Gasoil 10 S: from 38.50 to 43.81 pesos. Meanwhile, the supergas would go from 38.98 to 38.78 pesos.

Price evolution

Fuels experienced three consecutive increases in the months of June, July and August. In September, the authorities determined a reduction, but in all cases less than one peso per liter. While in October it was decided to keep them unchanged.

The definition of the fuel price takes into account the import parity price, the distribution costs, the profit of the service stations, and the “X factor” (ANCAP cost overruns).
