In the files delivered by the National Intelligence Center (CNI) to the General Archive of the Nation (AGN) there is, for example, information on one of the most representative cases of repression during the dirty warsince the existence of photographs of the visits that sisters Ana Lilia and Artemisa Tecla Parra made in 1973 to members of the Revolutionary Action Movement (MAR), in the Lecumberri penitentiary, is revealed.
Artemisa was arrested for the first time on December 4, 1973 in Mexico City. She was imprisoned for four years. Upon her release in 1977, she rejoined the ranks of the organization. Her freedom did not last long, as on May 16, 1978, she was arrested and disappeared by state agents.
