A man identified as Alcides David Ramírez Zapata was arrested by agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) who seized 12 blocks of cocaine from him, according to military sources.
This procedure was carried out at the Citizen Service Point located in La Pedrera (Táchira), where the military inspected the vehicle in which Ramírez Zapata was traveling, on whose dashboard they found 12 blocks of cocaine totaling 12 kilos 955 grams.
Ramírez Zapata came from San Cristóbal (Táchira) and was heading to Cumaná (Sucre), according to a report from GNB Detachment 215.
