Petrópolis Prefecture resumed vaccination against covid-19 today (21) in seven points of the city. Immunization had been interrupted on Friday (18) in warning from the municipal administration with the recommendation that people only leave the house if it is extremely necessary.
The service at these points will be at reduced hours, from 10 am to 2:30 pm and registration must be done at site. “On the day of vaccination, it is necessary to bring an identification document and vaccination card”, warned the city hall.
The list of posts is as follows:
Adults and children at the Collective Health Center on Rua Santos Dumont, in the downtown area; at the Itamarati Health Center, at Rua Bernardo Proença, 32, Itamarati neighborhood; and at the Posse Basic Health Unit (UBS), at Estrada União Indústria, 33530, in the neighborhood of Posse.
For children over 12 years old, the service is available at Supermercado Extra do Quitandinha, at Rua General Rondon, 1015, in Quitandinha; at the Drive Thru from Itaipava Municipal Park, at Estrada União e Indústria, 10000, in Itaipava.
Children from 5 to 11 years old can be immunized at the UBS in Itaipava, on Estrada Philuvio Cerqueira Rodrigues, s/n; and at Casa da Educação Visconde de Mauá, at Avenida Barão do Rio Branco, 3, downtown.

Also on Monday, the municipality again carried out the itinerant vaccination campaign against covid-19 for children aged 5 to 11 years. In this case, according to the prefecture, it is not necessary to register. “All you have to do is go to the vaccination site with your identification document and your vaccination card. The service takes place from 10 am to 2:30 pm,” he said.
Today the service was at the Bataillard Health Center and at the Family Health Center (PSF) Vale das Videiras in Araras. Tomorrow (22) it will be at PSF Machado Fagundes and PSF do Brejal, in the neighborhood of Posse. On Wednesday, immunization is in the PSF Boa Esperança and Nova Cascatinha.
