The National Prosecutor, Zoraida Avalosaffirmed that there is not “a single piece of evidence” that relates her to being part of Los Necks Blancos del Puerto, a criminal network that was allegedly headed by former Supreme Judge César Hinostroza.
In dialogue with Día D, Ávalos Rivera remarked that the constitutional complaint filed by the anti-corruption prosecutor Javier Pacheco before the Congress of the Republic is part of a “narrative” that seeks to undermine his credibility.
“I can also go out and say that he belongs to another organization. It is not about saying, but about trying. There is not a single proof that binds me“, Held.

“I say if there was documentary evidence, such as audio, you think they would not have taken it. They would have removed it long ago”, he added.
Likewise, the Nation’s prosecutor emphasized that “various actors” seek to bring down the fiscal investigation of the Los Necks Blancos del Puerto case.
“We have investigations against all political actors: ministers, congressmen, supreme prosecutors, supreme judges (…) there is this change to the effective collaboration law that was presented by [María Teresa] Cabrera, whose political leader [José Luna Gálvez] has investigations”, he detailed.
She was also consulted about the statements of Luis Alberto Pacheco Mandujano, former deputy manager of fiscal training who denounced that Zoraida Ávalos asked him to “certificate sneakers” because he needed to complete his training score for his resume.

“False, of all falsehood. I have never asked that man, neither him nor anyone else. 12 years later, do you just remember? because if it had been true because he didn’t report me. Also, let’s not forget that this gentleman has been an official of Mr. [Pedro] Chávarry whom I denounced and was disqualified”, replied the prosecutor of the Nation.
On the other hand, in reference to the Fourth Power report where he highlights the double version of President Pedro Castillo when he was consulted about Karelim López and the Breña house, Zoraida Ávalos stressed that opening a new investigation is being “evaluated”.
“All of this is being evaluated. The news arrives and we have to evaluate it. Believe me that we are giving you all the time due to this investigation (…) If it is the case that we see an inconsistency, why not?he warned.
