In the last few hours, a curious episode captured on video has caused a stir in Bucaramanga. Through the account @FotoMultaSocial, formerly known as Twitter, a video was shared in which a driver, apparently from a taxi, records a vehicle from a driving school with the license plates covered by cardboard.

The video allows us to hear the driver narrating with astonishment how the vehicle, clearly belonging to a driving school, was driving with its license plates completely covered, something that he considered quite curious.

The reactions were not long in coming, and the video quickly accumulated comments on social media, where users shared their own theories and opinions about what happened. Many questioned the legality of covering the license plates, while others wondered why a driving school would engage in such a striking practice.

When the video went viral, the driving school involved was quick to respond. In a statement, instructor Carlos García, from the “Practi-car” Driving School, offered an explanation that generated even more interest in the case.

According to Garcia, the incident was the result of a misunderstanding.

“I was on my lunch break, sharing time with my wife, and the staff in charge of caring for the vehicle placed the cardboard on the license plate to identify it so I could pay for parking,” the instructor explained.

García added that he did not realize the situation until a driver began recording the vehicle and subsequently posted the video on social media. “It was not with bad intentions,” he clarified, assuring that the cardboard was later removed.

In addition to the instructor’s explanation, the person who he said was the woman in charge of the parking lot also spoke.

Despite the explanation, the incident has sparked debate about traffic regulations and the responsibility of driving schools to respect road laws, with many citizens calling for greater oversight of such situations.
