A federal judge ratified the precautionary measure of preventive detention for Rosalinda González Valencia, wife of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, The Mencho, leader of the Jalisco cartel New Generation (CJNG)who in December 2023 was sentenced to five years in prison for the crime of operations with illicit proceeds. González Valencia is currently imprisoned in the Federal Social Reintegration Center 16 CPS for Women in Morelos.
