“Return of the VAT 2024” This is a program that not only aims to help the poorest families in the country, but also to restore their purchasing power. This monetary reimbursement is a way of rewarding the efforts made by Colombian families to be able to acquire food and essential products, But can one register on one’s own?
Who can benefit from the program?
This aid is available to households that have been determined by the Sisbén and/or Social Registry of Households, as well as lists of indigenous households collected by Prosperidad Social. These include those families in a situation of extreme poverty (AO1, A02, A03, A04, A05) and moderate (BO1, B02, B03, B04).

Can I register on my own?
The inscription#Access to this benefit is provided by official agencies responsible for collecting data and classifying families according to their needs, such as:
– The Sisbén.
– Families in Action.
– Social Protection Program for the Elderly
– Greater Colombia
An individual cannot register, in addition to the fact that the program’s service quota is two (2) million households nationwide.

How do I know if I am a beneficiary?
To find out if you are a beneficiary of the VAT refundyou must enter the page:
1. https://devolucioniva.prosperidadsocial.gov.co/
2. Click on the “beneficiary households” button, where a window will open in which you must enter your ID number so that the system can perform the query.
3. Enter the ID number or the indicated document.
4. Select date of birth.
5. Perform a ‘Recaptcha’ check to prove that you are a real person and not a ‘bot’
6. Access your information and status in Citizen Income Transit.
If you are, it is important that you verify the information so that there is no data entered incorrectly or that does not correspond. If you do not have the possibility of accessing the internet, you can go to the local mayor’s offices or call the hotline. 01-8000-95-1100 and/or by sending a text message to the number 85594.
Where are payments received?
To deliver the benefit, Davivienda will facilitate the delivery of funds to beneficiaries using its Daviplata application and will have Efecty, ConRed, Reval and PuntoRed to make payments by bank transfer in 323 municipalities.
For its part, SuperGiros and its network of allies will be responsible for money order payments in the remaining municipalities.
