Colombia's national team already has an opponent for the next quarter-final match of the U-20 Women's World Cup

FIFA has changed the schedule for the ‘Tricolor’ debut next Sunday in Cali.

The Colombian national team continues to shine at the U-20 Women’s World Cup after securing its place in the quarterfinals with a narrow 1-0 victory over South Korea thanks to Linda Caicedo, who scored the only goal of the match and sealed the Colombians’ passage to the next phase of the tournament.

Carlos Paniagua’s team has been relentless in the championship, keeping four consecutive clean sheets. This solid performance has captured the attention of fans and experts, consolidating the national team as one of the favorites to win the title.

Colombia’s opponent in the quarterfinals will be the Netherlands, which qualified after beating France 2-1. The highly anticipated match between the two teams is scheduled for next Sunday, September 15, at the Pascual Guerrero stadium, starting at 4:30 p.m.

The stadium is once again preparing to welcome a large number of fans, who are expected to fill the stands to support the ‘Tricolor’, as happened in the previous match where more than 35,000 spectators thrilled with the team. The passion of the local public will undoubtedly be a motivating factor for the Colombian players.

The national team will look for the possibility of playing in the final of the tournament at the El Campín stadium in Bogotá, on September 22, if they manage to advance in the competition. Attention is also focused on the quarterfinal matches, which also include the following matches:
