He Levante Women announced this Friday the transfer of the Brazilian forward Gabi Nunes to the Aston Villa English, who has paid the 300,000 euro buyout clause of the Paris Olympic silver medallist, according to sources close to the operation, EFE has learned.
The Brazilian player, who joined Levante in the 2023/2024 season, played 34 games last season, in which she scored 16 goals and gave four assists in all official competitions. In the first match of the 2024/25 Liga F against Athletic, she was not called up to the team, which lost 0-1.
Aston Villa have also announced that the São Paulo native, one of the most expensive signings in English women’s football, has signed a two-year contract with the option for a further one.

Nunes, 27, landed in Spain in 2021, where she played two seasons in the Liga F with Madrid CFF, prior to her arrival at Levante, and now she is heading to the English league with former Levante player Paula Tomás, who was also signed by Aston Villa for an amount greater than 100,000 euros.
