Coparmex assured that Uncertainty is already present in local and foreign companiess, which have expressed concern about the politicization of the selection of judges, as it may weaken the rule of law.
“This would also affect key projects for our economy and, therefore, for the well-being of all Mexicans,” he stressed.

He stressed that economic indicators are sensitive to changes that affect the balance of power, and the loss of this balance will have serious repercussions on the country’s productive activity.
“Any modification to the justice system must be carried out with full awareness of the division of powers, the economic effects and the international commitments assumed by Mexico,” he said in a statement.
Coparmex also called for the haste in approving this reform, because it responds more to immediate political interests than to the real needs of justice in the country.
This was demonstrated in yesterday’s session, as a worrying trend of not listening to all voices was evident.
“Mexico, which has demonstrated political maturity by finding common ground, now faces a reality of impositions,” Coparmex stated.
