Three men were killed during clashes with police and military agencies, according to reports.

Two of the procedures were carried out in the municipality of San Rafael de Carvajal, Trujillo state, where the gang founded by Darwin Rivas (El Cagon) operates, one of the 10 most wanted in Venezuela, according to a list published by the Ministry of the Interior.

In the La Hoyada sector of the aforementioned Trujillo municipality, agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) confronted members of the El Pepón gang, one of whom was shot dead and identified as Carlos Javier González Gonzales.

The subject confronted the police commission with a .38 Smith & Wesson revolver which was collected by the officers acting in that procedure.

Another scuffle also occurred in Carvajal, but in the La Matera sector, with members of the GNB and associates of Cagon. There, Ramón Alexis Espinoza Hernández, another associate of the aforementioned individual, whose organization is dedicated to collecting taxes from medium and small producers, was killed.

In that second confrontation, the military seized a .38 caliber Amadeo Rossi revolver, according to a report from GNB Detachment 231.

And in the El Carmen neighborhood, Maracay (Aragua), Cicpc agents, assigned to the Vehicle Division, confronted a gang of car thieves, resulting in the shooting down of one of them, known by the nickname Randoski.
