Bogotá Treasury intensifies surveillance of more than 900,000 tax defaulters

The Treasury Department said that the messages will be sent to taxpayers who have debts with the city for taxes such as property tax, property tax by quotas, vehicles and industry and commerce (ICA) for the 2024 period and who, therefore, are not covered by the Tax Relief offered by the District.

It should be noted that to access tax benefits, through a payment facility, the debtor in arrears must not be reported to the State Bulletin of Delinquent Debtors for non-compliance with a payment agreement, likewise, those who request a payment facility must pay an initial fee of 30 percent of the debt, which includes tax owed, interest and penalties.
