Banco Caribe offers “Fun Morning” to street action children

The infants belonged to the sectors of Cienfuegos, Hoyo de Puchula, Hoyo de Elías, Navarrete, Rafey, Hato del Yaque, among other communities.

“The Morning Fun with the Street Action Children “ It was carried out at the headquarters of that institution.

It included crafts with a sustainable approach, using recyclable materials.

In addition to a “Storytelling” with the children’s writer Anya Damirón and her book “The Secret of the Stones.”

Anya Damirón is the most important writer of children’s works in the country and is the author of the book “The Secret of the Stones.”

This book was awarded the Gold Medal for the best story in the Spanish language, awarded by the Moombem Children’s Book Award.

Banco Caribe delivered kits containing a copy of the aforementioned work signed by the author, piggy banks and materials for creative games.

The activity was attended by Dulce Fernández and Himilce Tejada, North Zone Business Director and Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Banco Caribe.

For Acción Callejera, Maikel Vila, president and Carolina Elivo, executive director, among other executives of both institutions.

Himilce Tejada explained that these actions are part of the “Caribitos trains you for savings” program, which encourages good habits.

He pointed out that “Banco Caribe, through its Corporate Volunteering, works in favor of children and education in our country.

Carolina Elivo, executive director of Acción Callejera, thanked Banco Caribe for its support and contribution in favor of children and adolescents.

“For street action it is very important to be able to carry out recreational and educational activities that strengthen the creativity, development and values ​​of boys and girls,” he said.
