In recognition of the efforts and achievements of athletes, the Ministry of Sports and the National Government have decided to grant monetary incentives to medalists, according to Resolution No. 000636 of July 25, 2024. This incentive is a reflection of the country’s commitment to its athletes and a recognition of their hard work and sacrifice.
According to the Resolution, The gold medalists will receive an incentive of 264 smlmv (current legal monthly minimum wage), which is equivalent to $343,200,000. Your trainer will also be rewarded with $ 171,600,000.
For athletes who won a silver medal, the incentive will be 147 smlmv, which is equivalent to $191,100,000while their coaches will receive $ 95,550,000.
The bronze medalists will receive 105 smlmv, equivalent to $136,500,000and their coaches will receive $ 68,250,000.
