We continue to monitor two tropical disturbances associated with low pressure systems, which are generating moderate to heavy rains, thunderstorms and wind gusts; the first is located in the central Atlantic, far east of the Lesser Antilles, with a 40% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 and 120 hours. The second disturbance, hundreds of kilometers southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, has a 30% chance of cyclone formation in 48 hours and a 70% chance in the following 7 days.
