Santo Domingo.- Venezuelan Minister of the Interior and Justice Diosdado Cabello once again responded to Dominican President Luis Abinader. This time to tell him to “pay first the 350 million dollars” that, he said, the Dominican Republic owes to that country for oil.
During the weekly press conference of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the Venezuelan official also stated that the Dominican head of state “is acting like a fool” if he believes that the United States “will never do anything” to the Dominican Republic.
“First, pay the 350 million dollars that Abinader owes Venezuela in oil, you hear, so that you have morals, to talk about the people of Venezuela,” he stressed.
According to the Venezuelan politician, Abinader spoke in his favor on one occasion out of convenience.
«The Dominican Republic owes us three hundred and fifty million dollars. Don’t be surprised that what this Mr. Abinader is looking for, that Edmundo González came after him as an imaginary president, María Corina as an imaginary president, you spoke in my favor, I forgive your debt, no, pay up, you moron, pay Venezuela so that you have the morals to speak, Venezuela has the morals to speak because we don’t have a straw tail with anyone, we don’t owe favors to any government, we are free,» Cabello stated.
