Murals against fascism were painted in Aragua

To promote messages of peace and defense of national sovereignty, the youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV) carried out a day of painting murals against fascism in the 18 municipalities of the Aragonese entity.

The mural painting day is part of the World Congress against Fascism and Similar Expressions, which will take place in Caracas on September 11 and 12, where thinkers, intellectuals, artists, social and political leaders from various regions of the world will meet to advance the formation of an anti-fascist front on a global scale.

Governor Karina Carpio supervised the painting of murals that took place in the Andrés Eloy Blanco parish of Maracay, where she highlighted the commitment of the Bolivarian government to promoting peace: “We are deployed throughout our region, with that group of young people full of energy, seeking the content of peace, with these messages far from arrogance,” said Carpio, who also referred to the commitment of President Nicolás Maduro to promoting peace.

Also present at the event was the head of Agitation, Propaganda and Communication of the Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) Aragua, Vicente Flores, who expressed his satisfaction with the painting of the murals that carry a message of peace, joy and unity for all the people of Aragua.

“The objective of this type of initiatives, such as painting murals and holding a Congress in Caracas, is to unite ideas and strategies in the social movements of the region in the face of the advance of fascism,” he added.
