Cofopri prepares rule to give property titles to homes built in risk areas

The (Cofopri) intends to issue a norm with which property titles will be granted to the owners of informal constructions that are in risk areas.

According to the draft supreme decree, “The aim is to promote the securitization of lots that present a level of risk that can be mitigated without previously requiring the implementation of the recommendations contained in the risk analysis reports and not postponing their securitization any longer.”, revealed the Punto Final program.

The Vice Ministry of Housing would not agree with this project proposed by Cofopri, according to sources consulted by Punto Final.
