Panorama released images in which Andrés Hurtado can be seen participating alongside comedian Alfredo Benavides, currently under investigation for money laundering due to his ties to the former mayor of San Juan de Lurigancho Carlos Burgos, in an activity at the Superior Court of Justice of Callao for Mother’s Day.

It even shows that the television host was in charge of handing out gifts to the employees of the courthouse.

The Sunday paper reported that currently the prosecutor José Manuel Espinoza Vin, of the Second Supraprovincial Prosecutor’s Office against Money Laundering, is the one who qualifies the possible crimes known by Andrés Hurtado.

Last Saturday, Andrés Hurtado announced that he will be temporarily removed from the program “Porque hoy es sábado con Andrés” after being accused by Ana Siucho of alleged influence peddling and bribery. Panamericana Televisión -where the program was broadcast- reported that it had taken the measure.

Hurtado said, however, that he would not use his time on the show to defend himself against the serious accusations.
